ALCADRAIN

The Alcadrain enterprise was set up in 1998 as a family Czech business. Presently it has 11 daughter companies abroad and exports into more than 70 countries around the world. It is the largest producer of sanitary ware in central and eastern Europe, producing more than 600 products on an area of more than 60,000 m2: ventillation exhaust fans, siphons, wall-hung toilets, drain grates/grills/strainers, drain-stopper pop-ups, toilet seats and other assorted goods. Alcadrain is expanding rapidly, which has been namely due to the high-quality and design-interesting products of the premium label Alca, which the company designs itself, and are holders of a number of awards, for example The Red Dot Award 2014 for the collection of FLAT remote control buttons, or the iF Design Award 2018 for the NIGHT LIGHT touchless remote control buttons. For the fourth time in a row, the company has defended its position among hundreds of the most successful Czech companies in the Czech 100 Best contest, and in 2019, the owners of Alcadrain – wife and husband Radka Prokopová and František Fabičovic – won the prestigious EY Entrepreneur of the Year 2018 award in the Czech Republic. Alcadrain products are used in both new buildings and in reconstructions. Alcadrain technical experts place emphasis on reliability and dependability in all products. Before any Alcadrain product leaves the production plant in Břeclav, everything is tested for quality. Alcadrain’s goal is to make products which work dependably, satisfy the customer’s requirements, and enrich the quality of life.
